Taking our daughter to the beach for the first time!

It was her first beach experience this year. We woke up at 6:30am. Actually, scratch that. She woke us up at 6:30am. With all the preparation, we didn’t get to Jackson Point (an hr and a half away from where we are) until 10:30am. There were already a lot of people and for some reason, only one parking ticket machine!

I thought this was funny.

Even though there were lots of people already, we stayed (I mean, we drove so far!). Avery LOVED the water. I was a little uneasy with her trying to float on her stomach because the water might be infested with bacteria so there was a lot of, “dont drink the water.” 😂 I wish I checked the ontario safe water website to ease my anxiety about whether the water was safe. Nonetheless, she did a lot of swimming and we also made a friend! 😂

Her swimwear and life vest is from coco village. I love the colour and it fits her really well. You can get them with our code ‘OURSTORY10’ for 10% off. I think theyre on sale right now!

Avery also played with the sand, which she also loved!

Overall, it was a great beach experience. We would like to take her to more swimming opportunities. We are also planning to sign her up for swimming lessons. When did your little one start swimming lessons?
